午餐2022/23

The USDA lunch waiver for the 2021/22 school year has expired. This means that for School Year 2022-2023, students resume paying for school lunch.  To qualify for free or reduced price meals, parents need to complete an application (see below). If you have any food service related questions, please contact 丹尼尔Kaidan, Director of Food Services.

Free or Reduced Lunch Benefits

As a member of the National School Lunch Program, Saint Joseph High School offers free and reduced lunches to qualifying students. Families must apply each year for 程序 eligibility. The application to apply for benefits opens annually on July 1, and can be found 在这里. 应用 by August 5th to ensure that your student, 如果符合条件, will receive free or reduced-priced meals when school starts. Families must reapply every year to be eligible.  Paper copies of the application are available in the Office of Student Life and the Main Office.

Lunch Payment Policy

Saint Joseph High School believes that having a nutritious lunch is critical to school success.  因此, we will allow a student to charge up to two meals after their lunch account balance is zero. This policy applies to students who pay reduced or full price lunch (not to students receiving free lunch benefits).  If, after two charged meals, the student’s cafe balance is still zero, the student will be provided a peanut butter/jelly sandwich and milk for lunch. They will not receive the hot lunch option or be allowed to select a la carte items until the balance is above zero.  The Director of Food Services will contact the student’s family or legal guardian to discuss bringing the balance above zero.

学生 must have money in their lunch account to purchase a la carte items.  No charging is allowed for these items.
